All my works pertain to mornings and starting anew. I love how mornings can be full of hope and promises and power in spite of the weariness we all face now and then. The paintings are impressions of different candid pictures taken outdoors in the morning. They show moments of serenity and joy with the days young and yet unknown. The original Creator of our days, this original Artist who I believe is the biblical God, promises that in spite of man and his toils, "His compassions never fail; they are new every morning" (Lamentations 3:22-23). This pertains to both moments of strength and weakness, joy and sorrow. He places people in my life path to guide me and provides these undeserved & unforgettable moments in time with which I may paint. Life always presents its difficulties, and days can wage quite long. However, I should be resting easy in any time of day, knowing that I'm looked after in all situations, as if a valued subject of a candid capture...Biba!
